Ping.fm is today's accomplishment. Did I do it right?

I've been pondering this question with no answer coming for a long time. Again, the question pops up today as google alerts brings me a site where my Servin' It Up is for sale in a foreign country - this time India. I feel this is an honor seeing how they don't carry some of the top authors in the ebook industry.

My book is also available on the various Amazon sites for Canada, UK, Japan, France, Germany. It's also available on New Zealand and Australia book sites.

How do we find the markets to promote our books in these countries? Especially when you don't know the language, the customs. I'm still searching. Any ideas are most welcome.

Wow! Let's see.

I spent over a month trying to transfer my domain name and ultimately lost it. I got tired of hearing, 'it's not us, it's them'. So, my domain is unavailable until Jan. 27, 2012. I will get another, in the meantime, the website is still available and can be viewed at http://home.mchsi.com/~bekkilynn

I parted with Siren Publishing. A good thing, so don't moan on my account. I will offer the rest of the Sevin' It Up series elsewhere.

I've signed a contract with eXcessica Publishing for my first paranormal, Jewel of the Sun's BLOOD DESTINY. It's centered around a spiritual triad of matchmakers. No word on a release date. I've also agreed to write shorts for eXcessica anthologies. My first will appear April 2010. A short, fun and funny menage a trois that I started a couple of evenings ago and will finish tonight.

Oh, I quit my job in April and have been bored out of my mind. I need to go back to work, but I want to try something different for a while.

We've distributed 20 tons of gravel throughout my yard and driveways this summer. My bench area is wonderful. I can now sit out there without grass insects annoying me. The summer has been cool enough for me to spend mornings out there writing with a fire going, some evenings as well.

I've let some places go because I don't have time to keep up with all of them. I left Facebook, Shelfari and Goodreads. Yahoo 360 went away. On the Same Page seems to have gone away. I'm going to try and keep up with Live Journal, Twitter, and my blogs.

Let's see. Lots in the works. I have first drafts of stories I wrote last year to get back to, Eggnog, Mistletoe and Santa's Babe, Hardball, the four-story military series, and I've started new stories this summer. The Italian Heir promises to be a gutwrenching read, and will have a sequel. It has me twisted up writing it.

School begins here in two and a half weeks. I will miss my youngest son and his friends. They've been a lot of fun to spend time with this summer.

Vandalism forces her to confess her past, but he’s tightlipped about his, until he finds he’s been caught with Tyler Tyree, a former NFL player turned politician.

Wow! Finally, it's written.

This is the third story in my Servin' It Up series. While I've stuck to the same theme lines, I also added two more to it. Interracial and Multiple Partner with m/m and m/f/m interaction. This was the characters idea and believe me, we fought over it for months. lol I simply don't feel I'm qualified to write interracial and it's why I fought it when Lana in Last Glass of Wine wanted to be AA. Even though I won, whenever I read it, I still see her wanting to be who she wanted to be. So, for this reason, I gave in to Beth and let her be who she is. My other hangup with the story is the m/m. I prefer to write f/f. Granted, it's just as easy to write m/m, but it wasn't in my plans for this series.

Alas, it's in the hands of my wonderful critique group and they'll help me fix all the blunders.

In the meantime, I've gone back to book four, which I began a year ago. It's titled Temptation and Temptation. Mums the word on the plot for now. My characters absolutely hate it when I talk about them before they're finished living their story. They become spiteful and deliberately change it up. Brats. lol
